Welcome to our website!

Our new initiative started in the spring of 2009. Too many of us had found that, all alone, we have been doing more than we can cope with – finding puppies, kittens and abandoned animals in rubbish bins and by the side of the road; animals being poisoned and shot; and even just the daily medical care and first aid of our own animals (neutering, vaccinations, first aid, bee stings, snake bites etc).

If we all pull together we can make life better for the animals – and easier for all of us! We are not alone! We need to make a proper safety net. We do not need to be in a position where, when the next time we see an animal in need that we look and turn away – frightened for how much time, care and commitment it will be for us. We need to know that we can find help and information from Animal Lovers of South Pelion. Realistically, this might be a long way down the line – but let’s start..... this would be the thing to aim for – where we have a real helpline. One day, we will be in a position where we will all be glad that Animal Lovers of South Pelion exists!
